About Me
As a senior executive in the commercial and fine art photography industries, I offer 23 years of valuable professional experience and a diversity of skill sets that can be applied across any industry or job function. The key leadership positions I have held in New York City include: VP of Creative & Content Acquisitions at Gallery Stock, Director of Photography at Getty Images, Director of Photography at Details Magazine and Co-Founder of Wallspace Gallery in Chelsea.
I have moderated and participated on panels at major industry events such as the PDN Photo Plus EXPO and the DMLA Conference in New York, and presented photographic lectures at the School of Visual Arts and several key, global photographic events. I hold an MFA in Photography and Related Media from The School of Visual Arts in New York City with a focus on theory, criticism and exhibition curation. Additionally, I possess BA in English with a minor in Spanish from The College of Wooster in Ohio. My special interests have been mentoring and fostering the careers of emerging fine-art and commercial talent and small business brand development.
I'm a native New Yorker currently living in Cumberland Foreside, Maine and working at Colby College as career Advisor in the Arts & Communications arena.
When I'm not working, I'm out exploring the beauty of Maine, hiking, cross country skiing, gardening, knitting, cooking and reading.
